Past Simple Tense

FORM: Subject + verb + ed/d  (REGULAR VERBS)
             Subject + verb in 2nd column (IRREGULAR VERBS)
USE: We use the past Simple Tense to talk about actions that started and ended in the past.

Present Continuous Tense

FORM: Subject + verb + ing
We add -ing after every verb in present continuous tense.

USE: We use Present Continuous Tense for actions happening now, at the moment of speaking, or in the near future.
ex. 1: I am going to school now.
ex. 2: Are you going on the party tonight?
